As an AAWP Member Ann R. L. Best Events is bound by the following Code of Ethics
AAWP: Code of Ethics
As an approved AAWP member, you agree to accept the Code of Ethics as outlined in this Agreement. It is a requirement of endorsement, with standards that are established to ensure the organization’s integrity and professionalism. For approval by the AAWP, each member shall agree to:
1. Strive at all times to upgrade and improve their knowledge and skill of their particular wedding specialty, including marketing of that specialty.
2. Deal with the general public in the following manner:
a. To present to their prospective clients, in a professional manner and in professional surroundings, a highly motivated and intelligent presentation of their wedding specialty.
b. To handle the general public, their prospective clients, with the highest levels of honesty and integrity—to instill within them a strong, well-founded sense of credibility.
c. To not use any marketing or competitive practice which violates any Federal Trade Commission, or other Federal or State Regulatory Agency Rule or Regulation, or Federal or State Statute or any decision of any Federal or State Court.
d. To endeavor at all times to deliver their products, goods and services to their clients, in accordance with the highest standards of excellence and professionalism.
e. To strive to resolve all client disputes equitably and professionally without malice.
3. Approved AAWP members will endeavor to assist their fellow AAWP members for the main purpose of sharing their knowledge and skill for the betterment of their individual and collective businesses.
4. All approved AAWP members will assist in the education and betterment of their fellow members for the good of all.
5. AAWP members are of honorable character and reputation—and will do nothing of a disreputable nature, which could be injurious to the AAWP or to its approved members. In the event that a member violates the terms of this Agreement, endorsement will be unconditionally withheld.
